I had been looking into this place for a good couple of years now and it ended up being one of those..."ill do it another day" explores.

Access is interesting and i didnt think it was possible but finally after a night of trying to find something new we managed to gain access to this site. This is a rather unstable site and not one you would want to spend a great amount of time in but is still in a good untouched condition. there is a small amount of spreyed graffiti from local chavs in '81.

There is no information on this place and as far as im aware there are no plans either, nor is it on any other forum.

It was alot larger than i could have ever expected and on three levels.

On with the pictures

Entrance level

Just inside the entrance - this tunnel bends to the left into the main part or forward is a small shaft to the lower level where there are remains of a spiral staircase cut into the chalk.

Here is the main tunnel at entrance level - the spur on the left of the picture above!

Along the main tunnel are two spurs on the right to the lower level and a spur at the end on the right leading to the upper/exit level of tunnels.

Stairs leading to the upper level:-

At the top of the stairs is a spur on the right with seats cut into the chalk.

The stairs continue straight up to...

Now down to the lower level - Although lower, this runs parallel to the entrance tunnel and is very similar

Looking up to the enrance level from one of the spurs in the main tunnel:-
